Frequently Asked Questions

How does VerifyFiltering work?

You install the lightweight vf-agent on each device you want to monitor. The agent runs on a schedule, tests your network's DNS filtering against known categories (adult content, CSAM, gambling, etc.), computes a compliance score, and sends the results back to your dashboard. No inbound ports required.

What counts as a monitored device?

Any machine running the vf-agent — a laptop, server, router, Raspberry Pi, or other network device. Each active agent counts as one device toward your plan's limit. Devices you remove from monitoring do not count toward the limit.

Which compliance standards do you support?

All plans include pre-built profiles for CIPA (US K-12 schools), UK Safer Internet, and Friendly WiFi. Enterprise plans let you build a fully custom profile by choosing exactly which content categories to test.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You can change your plan at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. If you downgrade below Business, team member seats will be suspended.

How do team member seats work?

Business and Enterprise plans let you invite additional users as sub-accounts. Each sub-account gets a role — Admin, Technician, Viewer, or Billing — that controls what they can see and do. Sub-accounts log in with their own credentials and share access to the owner's device fleet.

What happens if I cancel?

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your agents stop reporting and your dashboard data is read-only for 30 days before being removed. You can reactivate at any time by subscribing again.
